Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police along with security forces on Saturday killed two militants of Hizbul Mujahideen militant outfit in an encounter in Bijbehara area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Range Vijay Kumar said that two militants of HM militant outfit killed during encounter between security forces and militants in Anantnag.
He said that slain militants have been identified as Ishfaq Ah Ganie R/O Chakwangund, Anantnag & Yawar Ayub Dar R/O Dogripora, Awantipora, affiliated with proscribed militant outfit HM.
“The duo were involved in several militant activities,” he said.
