SRINAGAR: A woman from Srinagar allegedly committed suicide after failing to clear the Public Service Commission exam, according to reliable sources. The 26-year-old woman from Nowhatta ended her life at her residence.
It was stated that she was found unconscious at her residence, and she was immediately rushed to JLNM Hospital. However, doctors declared her brought dead upon arrival.
The sources further mentioned that the woman had been upset since she failed to clear the Public Service Commission exam, which is believed to be the reason behind her taking this drastic step.
Meanwhile, the police have already taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation. (KS)
