Srinagar: Shawwal crescent has been sighted in several parts by Ruet e Hilal Committee- a body responsible for the monthly moon sighting.
The Committee has said that Eid ul Fitr will be observed on Wednesday.
Earlier, Ladakh also decided that Eid will be observed in the region on Wednesday.
Pakistan will also celebrate Eid with the rest of the world. However, the moon was not sighted in India and Bangladesh, which will celebrate Eidul Fitr on Thursday.
Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait and Australia are some of the countries which will be celebrating Eid tomorrow.
