Srinagar: The University of Kashmir on Friday announced a 10 day summer break for all teaching departments at its main campus and off site campuses from July 24 to August 2, 2026.
According to a notification issued by the Office of the Dean Academic Affairs, all teaching departments at the main campus and off site campuses will remain closed during the vacation period from July 24 to August 2.
The University has clarified that the offices of all departments and campuses will continue to function normally throughout the vacation.
The notification also instructed all Heads, Directors and Coordinators of Departments, Off site Campuses and Centres to ensure that routine administrative work remains unaffected. It further stated that all scheduled examinations and other academic activities will be conducted as per the notified timetable without any disruption.
