Srinagar: Srinagar police have registered an FIR after some men allegedly produced forged documents of 39.10 kanals of land to get status quo and enforcement of NRI property.
News agency KDC reported that on the directions of Chief Judicial Magistrate Srinagar, an FIR number 01 of 2023 under section 447, 427, 428 and 420 was registered at police station Ahmednagar against five persons identified as Manzoor Ahmad Dar son of Ghulam Ahmad Dar, Ghulam Ahmad Dar son of late Ghulam Mohamma Dar, Abdul Rashid Dar, Abdul Aziz Dar and Bashir Ahmad Dar all sons of Sanullah Dar, all residents of Devipora Elahie-Bagh, Srinagar.
The court said ”As far as police report is concerned, it clearly reflects there are certain incriminating materials with regard to the property however no action seems to have been taken in that direction. Therefore, police station concerned is expected to investigate the matter thoroughly and shall go ahead with the proceedings strictly in terms of a status report filed by them and register an FIR against non-applicants and therefore shall submit a detailed report before this court on the next date of hearing”.
The case was filed through Advocate Ahra Syed on behalf Irfan Ahmad Baba son of Bashir Ahmad Baba, a resident of Humhama Budgam who is the caretaker of this land, situated at Devipora Elahie-Bagh in Tehsil Eidgah.
A police officer said that an FIR was registered on court directions and arrests in this regard are expectedly, investigation of this case is going on in full swing.
