Anantnag: A civilian was shot at and injured by unknown gunmen in Hassanpora area of Bijbehara area in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
Sources said that militants fired upon a civilian identified as Asif Ali Ganai son of slain head constable of Jammu and Kashmir police Ali Mohammad Ganai in Hassanpora area. Ganie was immediately shifted to Sub district hospital Bijbehara in injured condition where his condition is said to be ‘stable’, they said.
Meanwhile, joint team of forces have cordoned off the area and search operation has been started to nab the attackers. (KDC)
