Budgam: An elderly woman was seriously injured after stray dogs pounced upon her in Budgam village this evening.
The incident occurred at Sogipura village of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district, officials said.
They identified the victim as 55-year-old Kazari Bano, a resident of Chek Khatwar Sogipora hamlet.
Hospital sources at District Hospital Budgam told news agency Kashmir News Trust that Kazari Bano was brought to hospital with dog bites at her neck, arms and legs and after first aid doctors shifted her to SMHS Hospital Srinagar.
The woman is being treated at Srinagar hospital where her condition is stated to be critical.
