Pulwama: The former Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti on Saturday evening said that Indian Army personnel stormed inside a Masjid in Pulwama district of south Kashmir and allegedly forced Muslims to chant “Jai Shri Ram” Slogans.

Mehbooba alleged that she was shocked to learn that personnel of 50 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army stormed inside a Mosque in Pulwama and forced Muslims inside to chant “Jai Shri Ram”.

The PDP chief added that the attack ahs come ahead of Amarnath Yatra terming it an “act of provocati on”.

Shocked to hear about army troops from 50 RR storming into a mosque at Pulwama & forcing muslims inside to chant ‘Jai Shree Ram’. Such a move when @AmitShah is here & that too ahead of yatra is simply an act of provocation. Request @RgGhai to immediately set up a probe.

Mehbooba has requested the General Officer Commanding (GOC) 15 Corps Rajiv Ghai to set up a probe immediately.
