Poonch: Suspected militants on Friday evening opened fire on an army vehicle in Kawariyan area of Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said
As per reports reaching The Kashmir Newsville, on Friday evening, vehicles of the Indian Army were fired upon by militants in the Khanetar area of Poonch district.
A report from Republic TV claimed that militant targeted an Indian Army convoy, including the Commanding Officer’s vehicle, with two rounds of bullets fired from a hilltop.
However, there was no report of any loss of life.
Soon after the incident, security forces launched a search operation in the area to nab the militants.
