Srinagar: A Bihar resident was shot dead by militants in Bijbehara area of South Kashmir Anantnag district on Wednesday evening.
An official said that a non local resident identified as Raja shah Son of Shankar Shah resident of Bihar was shot at and injured after fired upon by suspected militants.
He was shifted to hospital in critical condition with injuries in Abdomen and neck where he succumbed to injuries.
Meanwhile the area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers.
