Bullet-Ridden Body Of Abducted Army Man Found In Kokernag Forests

Srinagar: The body of a Territorial Army man who was abducted Wednesday late evening has been found from the forests of Kokernag in south Kashmir’s Anantnag, reports said.

Quoting a top police officer, news agency GNS reported that the body of the abducted soldier was recovered today.

The officer said, the investigations are taken up to establish the circumstance leading to the death of the Territorial Army man and “how he went missing.”

The army man has been identified as Hilal Ahmad Bhat, resident of Mukdhampur, Nowgam Anantnag.

Earlier, the army’s Chinar Corps had said that a massive search and rescue operation has been launched to trace the abducted soldier.
