Srinagar: The Executive Engineer of the Water Works Division in Srinagar has announced that water supply will be disrupted in several areas from October 30 to October 31. This disruption is due to essential repair work on pumping units at the Dalbund Nishat facility, impacting the Water Treatment Plant at Nishat.
Affected Areas:
The neighborhoods expected to experience reduced or interrupted water supply include Nishat, Brein, Kralsangri, Gupkar, Nehru Park, Mir Behri Dal, Buchwara, Dalgate, Konakhan, Khayam, Bishembar Nagar, Indra Nagar, Shivpora, Sonwar, Batwara, Lal Chowk, Poloview, M.A. Road, Residency Road, Court Road, Rajbagh (Partly), Maisuma, Gowkadal, Barbarshah, Koker Bazar, Basant Bagh, Habba Kadal, Fateh Kadal, Balgarden, Karan Nagar, Suthra Shahi, Tankipora, Zaindar Mohalla, Karfali Mohalla, Nawa Bazar, Kaka Sarai, Bohri Kadal, Babademb, Nowhatta (Partly), Khawaja Bazar, Rainawari, and Miskeen Bagh.
The Water Works Division has advised residents in these areas to store adequate water to meet their needs during the repair period.
