Srinagar: Authorities on Friday demolished the residential houses of two Lashkar-e-Taiba militants in Tral and Bijbhera areas of South Kashmir, three days after the deadly Pahalgam attack that claimed the lives of at least 26 people, mostly tourists.
According to official sources quoted by news agency GNS, the houses of Asif Sheikh in Tral (Pulwama district) and Adil Thoker in Bijbhera (Anantnag district) were razed to the ground using explosives, following their alleged involvement in the Baisaran Pahalgam attack.
The attack, which occurred on Tuesday, left 26 people dead, including a local resident of Pahalgam and 25 tourists—one from Nepal and the rest from various Indian states.
