Budgam: Administration on Monday retrieved one kanal of land encroached upon by a police officer of Jammu and Kashmir police in Gogo area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Quoting an official, news agency Kashmir Dot Com reported that 1 kanal of state land was retrieved by a team of revenue officials headed by tehsildar Budgam along with team of Srinagar Municipal Corporation and a police team The land was occupied adjacent to the property named in the wife of the police officer identified as Bakir Samoon of JKPS rank who is presently posted as Commandant.
The officer said outer wall and some structure over it have been demolished during the anti-encroachment drive being undertaken by the authorities.
