Srinagar: Social media platforms Instagram, Threads and Facebook experienced outages across the globe on Tuesday, internet monitor Netblocks reported.
“Facebook, Instagram and Messenger are currently experiencing outages related to login sessions in multiple countries,” it said.
Users throughout the world are encountering login issues across both the app and the website, with many being logged out without the ability to log back in.
The cause of the outage is currently unconfirmed, although users are reporting difficulties with resetting passwords and using two-factor authentication.
This disruption has raised concerns among businesses reliant on Facebook for marketing, underscoring the platform’s pivotal role in global communication.
