Srinagar: The Intelligent Traffic Management System (ITMS) is now fully operational, with e-challans set to be issued to traffic violators starting tomorrow in Srinagar.
The Srinagar Traffic Police, in a tweet on X, urged drivers to strictly adhere to traffic rules to avoid penalties under the newly functional system.
“INTELLIGENT TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (ITMS): E-Challans will be initiated against traffic violators in Srinagar through ITMS from tomorrow, as the system is functional now. Drive safely & follow traffic rules,” the tweet read.
The ITMS will streamline traffic enforcement, leveraging automation to ensure greater efficiency and accountability. Authorities hope this intervention will significantly improve the city’s traffic management.
