Srinagar: The ‘Dawa Khana’ of the well-known Hakeem Ghulam Qadir Reshi in Harwan has reopened to the public following a brief closure after an investigation cleared him of all allegations.

The clinic in Dara Syedpora, Harwan, was sealed last month after allegations of offering unproven medical treatments. Besides the health authorities had seized medicines for investigations.

Meanwhile MLA Hazratbal, Salman Ali Sagar today informed that the said clinic has been allowed to resume its operations normally after allegations against the centre proved “baseless”. He welcomed the development and praised Hakeem Reshi for his patience and composure throughout the ordeal.

“I am delighted to hear that the renowned ‘Dawa Khaana’ of Hakeem Ghulam Qadir Reshi Sahab in Harwan is once again open to the public with Hakim Sahab resuming his noble practice after the completion of investigations. Although all the allegations were found baseless by investigative agency, I commend #ReshiSahab for his tolerant attitude during this period. I’ve been told that people are overjoyed to return to this esteemed healing center after a brief pause. Wishing him the best in his service to the community,” Salman Sagar said in a post on X.
