Kishtwar: An encounter broke out between militants and security forces in Chatroo area of Kishtwar district on Wednesday, officials said.
An official said that an exchange of fire took place after the security forces launched a Cordon and Search Operation in the area following specific intelligence inputs about the presence of militants.
Security forces have cordoned off the location, and reinforcements have been rushed.
