Srinagar: Northern Railway zone of the Indian Railways on Thursday said that a special train will run from Budgam to Katra for a period of fifteen days from September 19, 2025 to October 03, 2025.
The officials said the aim of the initiative is to facilitate locals who are worried about the frequent closure of Srinagar-Jammu National Highway.
“Railway authorities have decided that Train No. 74688 (Vastodom Special Train) will run from Budgam to Katra for a period of 15 days to facilitate local people who are worried about the Jammu -Srinagar National Highway closure,” officials said.
“The train will run from 19.09.2025 to 03.10.2025,” they added.
