Srinagar: Hajj pilgrimage flights from Srinagar International Airport are scheduled to resume on May 14, following a suspension due to recent india-pakistan tensions.
Dr. Shujaat Ahmad Qureshi, Executive Officer of the Jammu and Kashmir Hajj Committee said that flights will resume on Tuesday, with three flights scheduled over the course of two days.
The official added that all necessary arrangements have been put in place to ensure a smooth departure process for the pilgrims.
Hajj flights were suspended earlier after several airports, including Srinagar, were closed amid a military standoff between India and Pakistan, which led to the suspension of civil aviation services across northern and western parts of the country.
