Jammu: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, while presenting the Jammu and Kashmir Budget 2025, announced several welfare measures, including free electricity and transport benefits.
Omar Abdullah said that 200 units of free electricity will be provided to all AAY families in J&K.
Additionally, AAY beneficiaries will receive 10 kg of free ration every month from April 1, and marriage assistance for girls under the AAY category has been increased from ₹50,000 to ₹75,000.
